"UPnP™ technology makes security camera networking, cctv, simple and affordable. With UPnP, a device (security camera) can dynamically join a network, obtain an IP address, convey its capabilities, and learn about the presence and capabilities of other devices, automatically. This enables "zero configuration" networks. Furthermore, devices can subsequently communicate with each other directly, thereby enabling peer-to-peer networking.
