ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich "Location" in diesem Zusammenhang als "Location" belasse oder z.B. mit "Standort" etc. übersetzen soll. Es handelt sich um eine Systemnachricht, die aufgrund eines Datentransfers den Kunden der Firma angezeigt werden soll.

Ich denke, Standort ist angebracht. Meinem Eindruck nach geht es weniger darum, dass Daten z. B. auf eine größere Festplatte ausgelagert werden (Speicherort) noch darum, dass sich Internet-Adressen ändern, sonder darum, dass ein Dienst an einen anderen Standort (sei es ein nur ein Serverraum oder ein komplettes Rechenzentrum in einer anderen Stadt) verlagert wird. Von daher finde ich Standort schon durchaus passend. |
