Wenn es ginge, würde ich die Punkte zwischen Steffen und Tradesca teilen (ich lasse jetzt die agrees entscheiden); die beiden Möglichkeiten habe ich dem Kunden zur Auswahl gestellt, was hier wirklich stimmt, werd' ich wahrscheinlich selber nie erfahren. Auf jeden Fall DANKE an alle!

create? -> erstellen, anlegen, erzeugen


Explanation:
Wenn es sich hier wirklich um "contacts" (und nicht um "cont*r*acts") handelt, habe ich den starken Verdacht, dass dort eigentlich "create" stehen sollte, was auch eher zu "edit" und "delete" passen würde (create, edit, delete = erstellen/anlegen, bearbeiten, löschen).

Explanation:

I’m convinced that “contacts” is not a misspelling of “contracts” because one user cannot independently edit or delete a contract.

It is also impossible to believe that the author of an original English text, most likely a native speaker, could mix up the meanings of “credit” and “create”.

That leaves only the suggestion by Tradesca.

As this appears to be a telecom equipment exchange site, “Bewertungen” of buyers and/or sellers regarding promptness of payment, promptness of shipment, guarantee performance, service performance, integrity, etc. would be an interesting site feature.

These “credits” might well be something like the Proz LWA system for outsourcers. “In the ProZ.com blue board, service providers enter, on a scale of 1 to 5, their likelihood of working again for a given outsourcer. An outsourcer's "average entry level" is the average of these numbers.”
