Aus einer Liste mit den technischen Daten einer Workstation (Medizin, Bildgebung):

"Integrated HD audio with Jack Retasking technology"

Gibt es dafür einen dt. Begriff?
Stimmt die im Net gefundene Übersetzung "Erkennung angeschlossener Audiogeräte"?

Explanation:
Es geht weniger um Buchsenerkennung als um Geräteerkennung. Ein Audio Line-In Anschluss wird beispielsweise durch Jack Retasking bei Anschluss eines Kopfhörers zum Line-Out Anschluss.
"Jack Retasking" ist aber auch im Deutschen der geläufige Begriff, deswegen würde ich ihn stehen lassen und durch die deutsche Erklärung in Klammern ergänzen!

hier wird es gut beschrieben:

"Intel HD Audio also provides improvements that support better jack retasking. The computer can sense when a device is plugged into an audio jack, determine what kind of device it is, and change the port function if the device has been plugged into the wrong port. For example, if a microphone is plugged into a speaker jack, the computer will recognize the error and can change the jack to function as a microphone jack. This is an important step in getting audio to a point where it ‘just works‘-users won‘t need to worry about getting the right device plugged into the right audio jack."

Explanation:
Jack Retasking scheint relativ neu zu sein, und kein Eigenname. Deshalb finde ich es schon ok, einen deutschen Begriff einzuführen, bevor es zu spät ist :)
