General purpose "image computers" have been developed which provide on-line memories and rapid volumetric calculations. Examples of these include xxx and yyy ***which function as accessories to general purpose workstations***, and xxx which offers a more tightly coupled Unix environment.
Ich habe so meine Probleme mit "which function as accessories". Vielleicht sitze ich aber auch nur auf der Leitung?

interpretiere das so, dass diese image computer an die normale Workstation angeschlossen wird, um die Ressourcen dieser zu schonen. Oder aber, weil der image computer über eine differenziertere Bildwiedergabe verfügt?
