So mache ich das immer bei den diversen Laptop-Broschüren ;-)

"Kabelfrei" ist unüblich. In der Kommunikation sagt man "drahtlos".

Willst Du ihn dennoch drin haben, vielleicht so:

agree  Klaus Herrmann: Voll kompatibel ist auch voll besser als etwas kompatibel. Wobei ich mich gerade frage, ob ein bisschen bedeutungsschwanger nicht doch geht?

  -> Du hast - wie meistens - eigentlich Recht. So liest man es nur meistens in den Beschreibungen. "Voll geil" ist ja auch besser als nur ein bischen :-)))))
agree  Jerzy Czopik: wobei die "Norm für drahtlose Kommunikation" m.E. auch OK wäre. Prüfen kann ich es leider nicht, weil mein Notebook, obwohl neu, noch nicht so fortschrittlich ist.

  -> Mir ist egal, was die anderen machen. Ich habe viel mit Amerikanern zu tun, daher verwende ich immer den "lockeren" Ton ;-)
agree  Roland Grefer: "voll kompatibel" weckt für mich Erinnerungen an die ersten IBM-PC und Apple II Clones ... die nannten sich zwar kompatibel, waren's dann aber doch nicht unbedingt. Oh je, damit lassen sich ja Rückschlüsse auf mein annäherndes Alter ziehen ... egal ...

Explanation:
IEEE steht für "Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers". Den Standard sollte man daher, finde ich, schon erwähnen.
"Mit dem Standard xyz des IEEE..." ginge auch.
