What do they mean by enterprise in both cases???

Explanation:
In Deutschland gibt es insb. bei öffentlichen Förderungen den Begriff der

kleinen und mittelständischen Unternehmen (KMU).

Wird analog auch oft zur Eingrenzung von Zielgruppen im Marketing verwendet.

Explanation:
Es gibt halt Switches mit vielen und mit wenigen Ports. Die mit den wenigen sind für die klein- und mittelständischen und die mit den vielen für die Groß-Unternehmen. :-) Will ein mittelständisches Unternehmen mehr sein, als es zu sein scheint, kauft es also einen Switch mit vielen Ports.
