Es handelt sich um eine Beschreibung einer Digitalkamera > Druckereinstellungen zum Ausdrucken von Fotos.
1.Turn on the camera and the printer.
Press SET or > to enter the setting menu.

22. Press the > or < arrow to select Custom then press the < or SET button.

Explanation:
In der Bedienungsanleitung meiner Kamera wird der Begriff mit "Individualfunktionen" übersetzt.

Wenn es jedoch um die *Taste* als solche geht, wird immer der englische Begriff "Custom" (in Großbuchstaben) stehen gelassen. (Manchmal wird auch die Abkürzung "CSM" verwendet).

Genau so würde ich es mit deinem Text auch handhaben.

agree  anisco: sinngemäß richtig, aber ich würde den Text mit den Grafiken vergleichen (Konsistenz der Terminologie), die der Kunde hoffentlich zur Verfügung gestellt hat.

neutral  tectranslate: Ach so, und auf dem deutschen Display dieser digitalen Kamera heißt das "benutzerdefiniert"? Sicher? Sehe ich als problematisch, solange wir die Lokalisierung der Interfacetexte nicht kennen. Kann ja auch "Eigene Einstellungen" oder sonstwas heißen...

agree  Petra51: Ich stimme Peter und Aniello zu. Sollte im Menü allerdings wirklich der englische Begriff "custom" stehen, darf er natürlich auch in der Anleitung nicht übersetzt, wohl aber erläutert werden.
