English to German translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Construction / Civil Engineering / sun shading device
English term or phrase: ballast roller tube
The text is about sun screens (glassfibre) and describes what they look like and consist of.
Screen material: glassfibre, woven crosswise as a fabric mesh.
-all edges reinforced, HF-welded
-piped edges top and bottom for invisible fastening to *ballast and fabric roller tubes*.
-heavy quality area weight....and so on...
What are ballast roller tubes. Are these the things at the end to weigh the screens down? but why at the top as well then? thanks for your help.

Fallstab besser. Siehe z.B. www.sonnenschutz24.de/rbeschreibung.htm

-> Stimmt, "heavy area quality weight" hat mich spontan an große sun screens denken lassen. Manuela kann die passende Bezeichnung verwenden. Danke!
