The melamine or veneer-faced full size boards are available in various widths and lengths of panels. Each panel is edged with a matching finish.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of Conti products have been produced at Norbord’s South Molton site in North Devon for over 30 years and since this time has been the major supplier to the DIY market of melamine and veneer faced panels. Every year hundreds of thousands of customers use this versatile product for their shelving, storage and bespoke furniture projects.
Norbord is the largest manufacturer of panelboard products in the UK and purchased the South Molton site in 1998. In addition to the manufacture of the Contiboard panels this Norbord site has a number of other processes; it manufactures wood-based particleboard, loft panels, laminates boards with melamine impregnated papers and real veneers plus it has a furniture operation for the production of components through to boxed furniture items.

Oberflächenveredelte Spanplatte, die mit Melaminfilmen (mit Melaminharzen getränktes Dekorpapier) beschichtet wird. Unter Druck und Hitze verbindet sich der Melaminfilm in einer Kurztaktpresse direkt mit der Spanplatte und ergibt so eine belastbare Kunststoffoberfläche.
