Glasofen?

Saint-Avold’s glass furnace is at the end of its lifetime. It will be re-built and extended by 25% in April and May 2008 during a 6 weeks production stop. The refractories will be changed on furnace and canal. Furnace’s floor space will be extended from 30 to 35 m2. Oven will be also extended, and our 4 fibrazing machines will be replaced by 6. This project is also an opportunity to improve the process and productivity, to strengthen Saint-Avold plant’s position on French market.
