Soweit ich weiß gibt es String Cheese bisher nur in der Schweiz zu kaufen, und auch dort wird das englische Wort verwendet.

agree  David Seycek: Was about to suggest this after a some „Ge-Google“ – I know string cheese from Slovakia, but it’s not a common type of food in German speaking countries (to my knowledge)
