Explanation:
"Pacific Rim" wird oft beibehalten, ich denke das würde auch für eine Speisekarte oder Restaurantbeschreibung gelten. Es wid aber auch mit "Pazifischer Randbereich" übersetzt. Bei einer Speisekarte kann ich mir allerdings nicht vorstellen, dass dort etwas wie "Küche/Gerichte des pazifischen Randbereichs" steht. Das wäre wohl zu steif und wissenschaftlich.
"prime beef" und "prime rib of beef" bieten bei der Übersetzung große Schwierigkeiten. "Prime beef" wird, besonders in der Schweiz, auf Hotel-Sites gerne beibehalten. Das "prime rib of beef" habe ich auch mit "Hochrücken vom Rind" übersetzt auf einem LEO-Diskussionsfoum gefunden. Man könnte beide Ausdrücke aber auch kurzerhand mit dem vielfach gebrauchten "Edelteile vom Rind" zusammenfassen. Dann klingt auch die Verbindung mit "feinstes" und "abgehangen" beser.
