Ringellocken und einzelne, geringelte Locken


Explanation:
So, wie ich das im Internet lese, handelt es sich bei Ringlets um insgesamt lockig geringelte Haare und bei Tendril um eine einzige, effektvoll hingeringelte Locke, die aus der sonstigen (Hochsteck-)Frisur herausfällt. Vielleicht könnte man Tendril dann mit "einzelne, gelockte Strähnen" übersetzen, sonst ist es ja dreifach gemoppelt (curls, ringlets und tendrils).

agree  Ingeborg Gowans: tendrils im botanischen Sinn heisst: Ranken ("The Wordsworth Concise German/English Dict. )1994, so dass die uebertragung auf haartracht dem am naechsten kommt
