Since Norges Bank embarked on its rate tightening cycle, from the summer of 2005 through Q3 2007, the banks’ average lending rate has increased by 230 bp. Apart from the downturn in house prices it is difficult to see any impact on the economy so far. In fact, growth in both ***mainland production*** and consumer spending has accelerated over the past year. In 2007 ***mainland economic growth*** is thus set to exceed 5% versus 4.6% in 2006, growth rates we normally associate with Emerging Markets economies.

Ist hier tatsächlich die "Festlandproduktion" bzw. das "Festlandwachstum" gemeint (im Gegensatz zu den Produktions- und Wachstumszahlen, die die norwegischen Inseln wie z.B. Spitzbergen mit einschließen)? Ich finde diese Begriffe sehr ungewöhnlich (was sich auch an den wenigen bzw. fehlenden Google-Treffern zeigt).
