ich übersetze hier noch immer einen 20seitigen Artikel zum Thema "Liberating Structures", eine "neue" Idee moderner Alchemie ("Wir sprechen, Sie zahlen"). Nach allerlei Pastoralem und Eigenlöblichen wird es dann erklärt.
LS is a growing collection of 31 or so (AdÜ: können die nicht zählen?) group processes and methods tat makes it easy and quick for any size group to radically change how they act and work together. Their purpose is to liberate energy, tap into collective intelligence (uuaahh), stimulate creativity and get surprisingly better results by engaging people and unleashing the power of self-organisation.
So weit also das. Dann folgen die ungefähr 31 Punkte, von denen ich jetzt nach und nach ein paar hier reinstellen muss, weil mir dazu nichts mehr einfällt. Ich gebe mal eine Auswahl von 11 oder so, darunter auch der hier abgefragte Punkt:

bin mir mit der Ausdrucksweise oben nicht ganz sicher, aber vom Sinn her sollte es so sein:
ecocycle -- A marketing organization differs from a natural system in that humans can take conscious, rational action. With rational action added to the concept of a natural ecocycle, we can view the marketing management process as a continuous system of change and renewal that follow the natural rhythms of an organization's existence.

--> meine Schlussfolgerung: ecocycle steht für etwas, das sich kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt, erneuert, verändert, genauso wie ein funktionierendes Ökosystem. Habe also ecocycle mit kontinuierlich gleichgesetzt.
sifting and gathering scheint mir ein fester Ausdruck zu sein bei der Suche von Informationen.
