Hier der genaue Kontext: "The headmistress, teachers, GOVERNORS ad most importantly the children, were all overwhelmed by the changes when they returned to school."
Es geht um eine Schule in Großbritannien.
Kann mir jemand von Euch erklären, ob es sich dabei um eine Funktion innerhalb der Schule handelt (die es bei uns nicht gibt), oder ob ein Offizieller der Gemeinde gemeint ist???
