"Why use distributed learning?" Aus dem Intranet eines Unternehmens, das mit dieser Methode seine Mitarbeiter schulen will. Kann man das im Deutschen so stehen lassen? "Vernetztes Lernen" oder "netzbasiertes Lernen" trifft es laut den Glossaren, die ich in Google gefunden habe, nicht so ganz, und für Umschreibungen ist leider kein Platz.

Und hier die Definition: Der Begriff "verteiltes Lernen" bedeutet, dass Lehrende (also z. B. TutorInnen) und Lernende räumlich voneinander getrennt sind. Bei vielen (aber eben nicht allen) Formen von eLearning sind sie allerdings durch Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien miteinander verbunden. Die Kommunikation erfolgt z. B. über Computer und das Internet. Durch die vielfältigen Kommunikationsmöglichkeiten, die sich daraus z. B. im Rahmen von Lernplattformen ergeben, ist es möglich, dass auch von mehreren TeilnehmerInnen gemeinsam, also kooperativ gelernt wird. So ist es möglich, z. B. gemeinsame Arbeiten zu schreiben und Dokumente zu erstellen, zu diskutieren oder sich per E-Mail oder im Diskussionsforum gegenseitig bei Verständnisschwierigkeiten zu helfen und Lerntipps zu geben. Verteiltes, kooperatives Lernen erfordert ein besonderes Maß an Disziplin und Motivation bei den Lernenden und daher auch spezielle Lernbegleitung im Rahmen des Teletutoring.
