English to German translations [PRO]
Social Sciences - Education / Pedagogy
English term or phrase: paragraphs, essays, journals
Weiss nicht so recht was die Unterschiede sein sollen. Stammt aus einer Beschreibung eines Universitätsprogramms. Finde irgendwie keine gut klingenden Begriffe in diesem Zusammenhang.

Der Satz: In writing classes you may write paragraphs, essays, letters and journals.

Vielen Dank für jegliche Unterstützung!

German translation:Absaetze, Aufsaetze, Briefe, Tagebuch(eintraege)
Explanation:
Since it sounds like a basic English Composition class, I'd go with "tagebuch" for "journal". "Journal" as an academic publication doesn't fit here.

Es ist erstaunlich, auf welch niedrigem Niveau oft die College-Kurse liegen, vor allem wenn es sich um ESL und/oder community college classes handelt. Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher was Absatz und Tagebuch angeht. Ich schau mal ob ich Dir ein Link zu einer Kursbeschreibung beischaffen kann
