"Magged" kann vieles heissen, habe auch eine Erklärung im Zusammenhang mit "Erbrechen" gefunden. Das mit dem Magnetismus hat hier eine gewissen Plausibilität. Habe gefunden:

"LS, I **magged** my 140s with 4 magnets too."

"The **de-magger** should be 4-6 feet AWAY from the machine when it is turned on, otherwise it may permanently magnetize the heads!"

"Someone did post that a problem with the Daiwa is the brakes don't work as well once they get wet. No such problems with magnets. Of course the Daiwa can be **magged** as well."

Hier im Zusammenhang mit V6-Motoren, wo es möglicherweise eine Prüfung auf magnetischem Wege ist:
"These rods are the absolute strongest 3vze rod you can buy, without going to a forged moly H- beam unit. They are the only choice for the individual racing a 3vze in drag, desert, oval, or rally. Da gab es auch einen "magged Squidder" im Web. Der "Squidder" ist eine Fischerrutenrolle. Habe mich bei einem Fischerutensilienhändler erkundigt. Diese Rollen sind mit Magneten versehen, die als Bremse wirken. Also "magged" = mit Magneten versehen.
