TYPICAL **DUAL VOLTAGE MOTOR FIELD CONNECTIONS** ARE SHOWN BELOW. CONSULT THE MOTOR MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS FOR CORRECT CONNECTIONS.

Oder liege ich hier komplett daneben?

The protective cap (28) has an opening (38) in its wall allowing access to the field connection bolt (18) of the starter relay, so that the cap can be fixed onto the starter by tightening a nut onto the field connection bolt.
