This is the BNC socket marked Ext on a XXX oscilloscope. This connection point is shared with the signal generator output. It can be used to start a data collection run but cannot be used to record data. The external trigger input is physically the same as the signal generator output, so these two functions cannot be used at the same time. It is possible, however, to use the output from the signal generator as a trigger. |

| Grading comment Klar, man muss nur richtig sehen, was zusammengehört. Aber mit deinem Punkt hinter dem Ext bin ich nicht einverstanden, sonst müssen sich tausende Benutzer oder Fliegen die Mühe machen, den dahin zu setzen..
