English to German translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Electronics / Elect Eng / alarm systems for oil rigs
English term or phrase: Electrical tagged equipment (ETE)
For the project, safety and automation system, a process information management system and electrical tagged equipment (ETE) were developed.

No further explanation given, only that this is part of the alarm handling system for an oil rig.
I am not sure if this really needs translation, but I would like to propose a German expression for this.

Explanation:
I'm not sure whether the EAS-System (Elektronische Artikelsicherung) meets your needs. Primarily developped for security reasons, it's now used to easily identify parts (inventory, checkout etc.)
It's in use with German retail and automotive
