Tech/Engineering - Energy / Power Generation
English term or phrase: gate closure
Market transparency should be tackled in conjunction with a number of other “technical” and less “technical” measures necessary to foster larger and more liquid electricity markets, e.g. integration of intra-day markets, integration of balancing markets, harmonisation of gate closures, market coupling, development of secondary markets, removal of regulated tariffs, etc.
