Zum Glück wird "peaker" im Text näher erklärt:
For all gas turbines with a **Peaker**perating profile (i.e. many start and stop cycles and few running hours)
The life time on a specific component is affected by the operating profile.
The damage mechanisms are different in case of operation with many starts and few running hours per start where low cycle fatigue (LCF) is the limiting life parameter, compared with continuous operation and few starts-stops cycles where creep of material is the limiting life parameter.
The existing maintenance plan has been based on the base load application, where the numbers of start/stop cycle has been considered as few and LCF to be low.
With this new maintenance plan for ***peaker application*** low cycle fatigue is determining the life time of the components.
An ISO-standard 3977-2 is the basis for the maintenance plans, base load and peak load. To be defined as a ***peaker***, the unit shall operate up to 2000 hours per annum on peak rating or below, and up to 500 starts per annum.
D.h. die Turbine läuft oft auf Spitzenlast und wird bei geringer Laufzeit oft ein-/ausgeschaltet. Das wäre also extreme Betriebsbedingungen (wobei damit ja auch Umgebungsbedingungen mit eingeschlossen wären, was hier ja nicht gemeint ist).
Gibt es dafür im Deutschen einen Fachbegriff oder eine gute Umschreibung?

| Grading comment Hey, super - da bin ich ja beruhigt. Und bei den Umgebungsbedingungen dachte ich z.B. an Luftfeuchtigkeit, Regionen mit extremer Hitze/Kälte usw. aber mit der Spitzenlast- muss ich mir diese Frage gar nicht mehr stellen. Ich danke Euch vielmals !!!!
