Es geht um folgenden Satz in Bezug auf eine Lizenzvereinbarung:

... beschränkt sich auf verteilte ... Anwendungen?? Passt das in diesem Zusammenhang? (siehe auch meine andere Frage zu **non-utility scale ... applications**)

Explanation:
"Distributed" hat zwar auch die Bedeutung "verteilt", in diesem Zusammenhang würde ich aber von "dezentralen Anlagen zur Wärmespeicherung" (eher nicht "Anwendungen") sprechen - analog zu dezentralen Anlagen zur Stromerzeugung, wie z. B. Photovoltaik auf dem eigenen Hausdach.
