I feel you might be mistaken. It seems to me that the meaning is:

"Disassemble the water manifold BY removing pins, attacks ..."

Does that fit with the context?

hallo silke,

ich denke auch, dass das so gemeint ist: "Lösen Sie die Bolzen des Wasserverteilers/der Wasserringleitung, die "attacks" und die Halterungen.

und: könnte mit den "attacks" evtl. so etwas wie "sprühdüsen" gemeint sein (zum abwaschen der säurereste)? das ist etwas weit hergeholt, aber wer weiß, aus welcher sprache dein text bereits übersetzt wurde?! also nur ein versuch...

vielleicht hilft dir das weiter:

... Im Zuge des Herstellungsprozesses muss der Zunder (oxydiertes Eisen), der sich während des Warmwalzens an der Bandoberfläche gebildet hat, vor dem Kaltwalzen vollständig entfernt werden. Dies erfolgt mit einem mechanischen Zunderbrecher und durch nachfolgendes Eintauchen des Bandes in Beiztanks mit einem Salzsäure-Bad. Danach werden die Säurereste in einem ***Spülbehälter mit entsalztem Wasser abgewaschen*** und die Bandoberfläche mit Heißluft getrocknet ...

ps: habe jetzt erst den vorschlag mit den "attachments" gelesen - wäre auch möglich. dann wären das wohl die "ansatzstücke" bzw. die "anschlussflansche" und die "holdfasts" nach wie vor die "halterungen/haltevorrichtungen" bzw. "befestigungen"... (nur laut gedacht...)
