Blanks hat sehr viele Bedeutungen, eine Steckscheibe (s.Wiki) benutzt man, wenn man eine Druckprüfung (Leckdichtheitsprüfung) durchführen muss. Sonst hätte ich auch eher an Blindflansch gedacht.

Die Prüfung wird durchgeführt - entweder an mehrere Modulen oder (wenn das aufgrund der anwesenden Ventile und Steckscheiben möglich) ist - pro Einzelmodul. Gemeint ist wohl nur, dass man nur dann Einzelmodule prüfen kann, wenn man das entsprechende Modul auch (mit Armaturen jeglicher Art) isolieren kann.

Und das Schöne an der Steckscheibe ist, dass sie beim Bau eingebaut wird, man sie dann zur Prüfung schließen kann, und danach wieder öffnen. Ein Blindflansch bleibt normalerweise wo er ist, es sei denn, er wird abgeschraubt. Verschließt meist einen Stutzen, also ein Rohrende. |

Asker: Moment, hier ist aber doch der vorhandene Anschluss gemeint, also doch der Blindflansch. Die Zahl der Steckscheiben ist ja nicht limitierend.
