English term or phrase:into a tight radius bend
Aus einem Text, der mit "Design, supply and delivery of switch rollers" überschrieben ist. Dabei geht es im Wesentlichen um "switch rollers" (Zungenrollvorrichtung zur Umstellung der Weichenzunge bei einer Eisenbahnweiche). Diese Vorrichtungen werden auf Weichen mit beweglichem Herzstück angebracht.
Unter "bracket assembly" (meinem Verständnis nach
"Halterungseinheit") heißt es u.a.:
"Filler material was required to be hot welded to the brackets to correct the dimensional inaccuracy; however, this induced localised stresses. Localised stresses also occured as a result of cold bending the bracket *into a tight radius bend*.
Erst einmal ist mit der Anschluss mit dem "into" nicht so ganz klar, und dann frage ich mich noch, was es mit dem "radius bend" (geht das in Richtung Bogenradius?) auf sich hat. Wer weiß Rat?
Gerade habe ich Bernds Antwort meine Zustimmung gegeben, aber (zu spät) gesehen, dass man das "zu" evtl.weglassen sollte, da es so nicht im Ausgangstext steht, also nur "mit engem Biegeradius".
