English to German translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Engineering: Industrial / Spulmaschinen | | English term or phrase: wire clamp | Im Text geht es um Spuler/Spulmaschinen, die Draht auf Maschinenspulen wickeln. Einige Hintergrundinfos habe ich z.B. hier gefunden: http://www.koch-ihmert.de/index.php?pageid=22&lang=1
Trotzdem bin ich mir hier noch im Unklaren:
"The spool change is fully automatic and works as follows:
The wire is initially clamped to a pneumatic *wire clamp*
The *wire clamp* that holds the wire, which is mounted on a rotary support starts to rotate with the spool and winds the wire on the spool.
The wire cutting device acts also a *wire clamp* and holds the cut piece of wire and drops it into a tray."
Wire clamp könnte rein wörtlich genommen Drahtklemme, Drahtklammer oder auch Drahtbügel sein - im Zusammenhang mit Spulern finde ich den Terminus aber nicht. Bleibt die Frage, welcher Ausdruck hier im Deutschen stehen sollte, hat jemand einen Vorschlag? |

Ich denke, dass Du die Übersetzung "Drahtklemme" verwenden solltest, da es nur eine Hilfsvorrichtung in den Spulern ist, soweit ich weiß. Pneumatic *wire clamp* ist dann pneumatische (druckluftbetätigte) Drahtklemme. Ein weiterer direkter Fachausdruck ist mir davon nicht geäufig.

Vielleicht verwenden Andere auch "Drahtklemmenvorrichtung", was ich für etwas übertrieben, aber dennoch nicht falsch, halte.
