Operation of detector:
1. After installation of the detector is complete, press the “test” button (top position on momentary switch). If the wiring is correct the alarm will activate. The alarm should turn off as soon as the switch is no longer in the “test” position. If the switch is in the ** “armed” position** (lower position) the system is activated.
