English to German translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Engineering (general) / Gears
English term or phrase: bevel or miter gear
I need help with the translation of gear models: "bevel gear" vs "miter gear". In dictionaries I do find "Kegelrad" for both English expressions, but there might be a difference?
Does anyone know how to translate into German?
Thanks a lot.

Kegelrad- oder Winkelgetriebe
Explanation:
I would call the bevel gear a Kegelradgetriebe. The two gears are generally of different sizes. I would call the mitre gear a Winkelgetriebe. The two gears are generally the same size.
