Ich vermute, dass es sich hier um einen Gerätegriff handelt, der gleichzeitig den Akku für den Betrieb enthält. Im Deutschen findet man den Begriff Batteriegriff entsprechend für kleinere Geräte und Kameras, die mit gängigen Batterien betrieben werden.
Bei leistungsstärkeren Geräten ist eher von Akkupacks die Rede, ohne Bezug auf deren Einarbeitung in den Griff eines Gerätes zu nehmen.
