Danke an alle! Es fällt sehr schwer, die Punkte gerecht zu verteilen, aber nach dem Bild, das ich zur Ansicht bekommen habe, kann es fast nur ein Spitzmeißel sein (obwohl das nicht gerade wie ein "bull" aussieht...).

Explanation:
Ich bin nur Schreiner und kenne mich also besser mit Holzbearbeitungswerkzeuge aus. Ich kenne zum Beispiel ein bullnose bit (router bit - Fräser). Dieses Werkzeug ist rund an der Spitze. Also nicht flach und nicht spitz.

Explanation:
Merriam-Webster describes a bull-point as "a pointed steel bar usually driven with a sledge(hammer) for making drill holes in soft rock." I think it might be reasonably safe to surmise that this is a sharp-pointed drill-bit....

Explanation:
This is based more on pictures than a real translation.

The first link shows you a bullpoint bit as made by the Japanese. You have to go down about halfway.

The second link shows you Bosch's equivalent. They only have a picture of their "Quadro-X" and do not show just the Hammerbohrer, but the Quadro-X looks just like the Japanese product.

I would shy away from what looks like a Bosch brand name, but Hammerbohrer most likely fills your need.
