I have heard "recycle" before in Germany, but never "reduce" for "reduzieren." I had tried to find 3 W's
for your 3r's, but I did not, i.e.
recylce-wiederverarbeiten, wiedergewinnen
reuse-wiederbenutzen
reduce-reduzieren, verringern (here lies the problem)--and the others are rather long and Germanic. I found a neat website who gives some alternatives for your 3r's:

reuse-erneut verwenden, wiedergebrauchen
recycle-regenieren (however, with recycle, I would opt to leave it as is)

| Grading comment Thanks for the time to do some research on my question. I was not quite satisfied with the results and started a google search of German pages - voila! I found exactly waht I needed. The Germans use the slogan: Reduzieren, Ressourcen schonen, Recyclen! Thanks anyway!
