English to German translations [PRO]
Environment & Ecology / Unternehmenspräsentation | | English term or phrase: environmentally-balanced | Aus der Firmenpräsentation eines Klimaanlagenherstellers. Das Unternehmen ist stolz darauf, "environmentally-balanced" zu sein.
"Environmental balance" heißt ja nun Umweltbilanz. Ich würde daher gerne was von "positiver Umweltbilanz" schreiben, weil das gut klingt. Aber wenn ich ehrlich bin, verstehe ich "environmentally balanced" eigentlich eher als neutrale Bilanz - kein Minus, aber auch kein Plus. Das klingt aber nicht so gut.
Wie versteht Ihr das? Positive oder neutrale Bilanz? Oder soll ich vorsichtigerweise zu Alternativen wie "umweltschonend" bzw. "umweltbewusst" greifen?
Beispiele:

.... Das richtige Kältemittel dafür scheint jetzt gefunden: Kohlendioxid ist weder giftig noch brennbar und bei kontrolliertem Einsatz auch umweltgerecht.

| Grading comment Da schließe ich mich mal der Mehrheit an. Der Ausdruck hat auch den Vorteil, recht vage zu sein. Ansonsten hatte mir auch die ausgewogene Umweltbilanz sehr gut gefallen. Vielen Dank an alle!
