English to German translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Environment & Ecology | | English term or phrase: hardlandscaping | im Gegensatz zum softlandscaping, worunter die Landschaftsgestaltung durch Bäume, Flüsse, etc. zu verstehen ist. Hardlandscaping ist dagegen die Landschaftsgestaltung mittels Anbringen von Bauten; könnte man das Landschaftsbebauung oder bauliche Landschaftsgestaltung nennen oder habt Ihr eine bessere Idee.??

The proper spelling is: "hard landscaping" and "soft landscaping".
You are right that hard landscaping generally involves building, whereby it can also be paving of roads or even the making of paths. Soft landscaping involves horticulture.
Soft: durch Flüsse??? Vor zwei Jahre hatten wir das "Jahrtausend-Hochwasser". Haben da die Flüsse "softgelandscapt" oder "gesoftlandscapt" (siehe "downgeloadet" vs. "gedownloadet")?
