English term or phrase:environmental health and safety
The Code contains important guidelines on issues such as Workplace Conduct, Conflicts of Interest, Protection of Company Assets, Conduct in the Marketplace, Global Commerce, and *Environmental Health and Safety*.
"Ökologische Gesundheit und Sicherheit" klingt gesteltzt, aber einfach "Umweltschutz" erscheint zu mager.

I am sure you are right, I am just trying to get my head around this darn expression... So, does the second and then make the differecne for not needing the comma after Health, in other words, since there are no mor than two listings afer the first ", and" there wouldn't be another comma required? Sorry, Kim, for bugging you and for extending the Kudoz Notes well beyond the norm...
Walter might have given the answer to may "comma dilemma" in that there might be a comma missing after "environmental" and there are really three issues listed that belong together...
I thought a listing of XYZ always ends with a comma after the last item before the "and" - also since there is an "and" (with preceeding comma) before "Environmental" this should be another indication that "Environmental Health and Safety" is one expression. Or am I interpreting too much into this? ;-)
Since there wasn't a comma behind "Health", I assumed that "Environmental Health and Safety" was one term in the respect that both "Health" and "Safety" relate to "Environmental". Is that NOT correct?
