English term or phrase: a deluding full year fiscal earnings season
The japanese market staged a v-shaped walk. It rose timidly until March and then fell heavily in April after a deluding full year fiscal earnings season and growing speculation about the revaluation of the Chinese yuan depressed investor mood.

My try:

...nach enttäuschenden jährlichen Staatseinnahmen...

Is that too free? Any better ideas?

Thanks in advance

irrreführendes Saisson von volljährige Ergebnissberichte
Explanation:
I don't think Staatseinnahmen or government revenues is what is meant by fiscal earnings season here. It makes far more sense for the market to be influenced by the earnings reports for a full fiscal year (ending in December and the annual reports are issued in late March/early April. It's the "reporting season" for full-year results. I'll allow you to deal with the delusion nature of the reports.

It's late! Allow me to change that to simply "Jahresberichte"

Explanation:
Ich habe eine andere Idee. Vielleicht geht es darum das die Ziffer der staatseinnahmen vom anfang an überoptimistisch waren. "Delusion" ist auch wahnvorstellung
