Ich hab auf Google nur 3 Treffer gefunden. Wohl mal wieder so ein neu erfundenes Wort von der anderen Seite des Teichs...

Nur kommt mir leider einfach nix Gescheites in Deutsch in den Sinn. Vielleicht das Englische beibehalten und dann umschreiben? Aber wie umschreiben, damit der Satz nicht zu lange wird, ist ja eh schon so ein langer Satz.

Ich denke hier zunächst an einen Zusammenhang mit "equity" ([Eigen]kapital), allerdings wird der Begriff unter http://www.fnarena.com/articles/6BADCCB0-17A4-1130-F5FF0BE6D... anscheinend auch in Bezug auf Aktien erwähnt (ist vielleicht eine erneute Umschichtung in Aktien[anlagen] gemeint?).

Mehr eine Vermutung als alles andere...

Aha - ich habe mal nach "de-leveraging" gesucht, da der Begriff in der zitierten Quelle im Zusammenhang mit "re-equification" vorkommt ("re-equification via de-leveraging"), und siehe da: http://www.proz.com/kudoz/1495884 :-)

Jetzt bin ich mir *relativ* sicher, dass es um eine Verringerung des Fremdkapitalanteils/Verschuldungsgrades und um eine (erneute) Stärkung der Eigenkapitalbasis geht.

heißt eigentlich re-capitalization. Könnte hier vom Sinn aber durchaus passen.
