English term or phrase: trade wide to / of

Aus der Präsentation eines Fonds für Unternehmensanleihen:

"Average CDS on senior debt for five US banks & brokers now** trades wide to** iTraxx Senior Fins; Both trade at 2 times March 2008 levels just prior to Bear Stearns"

Dieser Satz wird leicht abgewandelt wiederholt:

"Average CDS on senior debt of 5 US banks **trade wide of** iTraxx Senior Financials"

Darauf folgt eine Grafik mit der Überschrift "5-year CDS spreads (in basis points)", in der die "US Banks Average CDS" dem "iTraxx Senior Fins" gegenübergestellt werden (in Bp.). Die zwei Grafikkurven mit den Basispunkten nähern sich am Ende der Grafik einander an.

Der iTraxx Senior Financials ist ein Unterindex des Credit-Default-Swap-Index "iTraxx". Der iTraxx kann als Basiswert für CDS herangezogen werden. So weit, so gut. Die Wendung "trade wide to / of" bereitet mir jedoch Probleme.

Geht es hier um eine Annäherung an diesen Index?

Ich hoffe, ich habe mich einigermaßen verständlich ausgedrückt...
