A brief google for "commodity type" suggests that these are the commonly-stocked (and bought) types of cheese, so maybe this could fit? By contrast, you also get "speciality cheeses", it seems, which these are quite clearly - not!

Explanation:
Im Lebensmittelbereich ist der Ausdruck 'Commodities' sehr üblich. Es betrifft hier Massengüter im Gegensatz zu Spezialprodukten, wird in allen Bereichen eigentlich so eingesetzt (bei Käse geht es hier z.B. um Pizzakäse u.s.w.).
