This is from a manual for a flow freezer and "Divined Shrimps" is on the list of products that can be frozen.
I have never heard of this term and cannot find a definition.

disagree  Nicole Schnell: Leider nein. Nachdem der Kopf abgeschnitten wird schneidet man den Rücken von den Viechern ein und zieht das schwarze Dings (Darm) heraus. Es gibt hübschere Zeitverteibe. Zerteilt werden die Dinger dabei nicht.

Asker: Vielen Dank, Nicole, ich werde entdarmt verwenden. Übrigens, was hat es denn mit dem "count" auf sich? Ist das die Stückzahl in der Tüte oder hat das was mit der Größe zu tun? In meinem Dokument heißt es: "120 to 40 count", das hört sich nicht nach Stückzahl an, würde auch keinen Sinn machen. Also Größe?

Asker: Na sowas - also doch Stückzahl aber bezogen auf die Tütengröße! Wenn ich da jetzt so übersetze, versteht das doch kein Deutscher, oder doch?

  -> In den den US heißen auch die Riesendinger Shrimp. Da ich die Dinger pfundweise esse, sollte ich das wissen. Ich kaufe die großen gefroren, ca. 7 cm lang, "Colossal Shrimp", 26 count, sagt die Tüte.
