English to German translations [PRO]
Forestry / Wood / Timber | | English term or phrase: overbuck / underbuck | "Be careful that the chain does not cut into the ground when bucking as this causes rapid dulling of the chain. First, cut from bottom (underbuck) for 1/3 diameter of log to avoid splintering. Then cut from above (overbuck) to meet up with the first cut and avoid pinching of the chainsaw."
bucking = Abkürzen / zerscheniden eines Baumstamms in kleinere Längen.
Does anyone know the forestry terms in German for overbuck and underbuck.
