English to German translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Forestry / Wood / Timber | | English term or phrase: kicker | Noch eine Frage aus dem Arbeitsheft zum Thema Arbeitssicherheit:
A worker at a sawmill was trying to free up a jam. The *kicker* wasn't working properly, and there had been nothing but problems with the logs all day long. He was using a large crowbar to try to lift the one log over the kicker. Although he had locked everything out, it still took about 10 seconds for the pneumatics to bleed off. While he struggled with the log and the malfunctioning kicker, the other kicker came down and crushed his foot.
Wie nennt sich dieses Gerät? Ich habe die Glossar-Einträge gesehen, aber soweit ich es beurteilen kann, ist der richtige Begriff nicht dabei. Nochmals danke für Eure Hilfe. |
