Units of measures (UOM) in Contracts
The UOM of ordered quantity shall reflect the actual condition of the material to be transported (e.g. ***pigments in slurry*** = kg or ton)
The price UOM shall reflect the market (e.g. cores € per m)
For US imperial measures can be used

... wäre die Entsprechung von "core wood". Allerdings gibt es allein in der holzverarbeitenden Industrie mindestens drei bis vier weitere Bedeutungen:
coreboards - Tischlerplatten, Verbundplatten
core plywood - Sperrholz (mit Mittellage)
core veneer - Mittellagenfurnier
corestock - Innenschichtmaterial, Mittellagenmaterial (z. B. von Sperrholz)
Also wirst Du nicht umhin kommen, beim Kunden nachzufragen...
