English to German translations [PRO]
Games / Video Games / Gaming / Casino / Online games | | English term or phrase: control your own character | Context : "XXX is a massive multiplayer adventure, with monsters to kill, quests to complete and treasure to win. You control your own character who will improve and become more powerful the more you play".
I would put "Sie gestalten Ihre Spieilfigur: je mehr Sie spielen, desto mehr sie an Geschick und Staerke gewinnt"."
For some reason I do not feel that "Kontrolle haben" would be appropriate but I will probably be using "gestalten" in "you could train your character to be an all rounder" that comes up later in the text.
Also I feel that "you" has to be emphasized meaning "It is entirely up to you what you want your character to be" but I do not think that my translation reflects this.
Perhaps "Es liegt an Ihnen, Ihre Spielfigur zu gestalten " ???
