Ich denke, es hat mit dem Speicher zu tun.

Hier nur ein paar Links als "Reference Information", die hoffentlich auf die richtige Fährte führen. Da ich hier allerdings selbst nicht so genau weiß, wie das hier zu interpretieren ist (und was diese kryptischen Satzfragmente heißen sollen), wollte ich es nicht als Antwort einstellen.

Speicherbänke sind zum einen Steckplätze/Slots für Erweiterungsspeicher (http://www.computerwissen-online.de/?page=lexika&action=view... zum anderen auch einfach Bereiche eines Arbeitsspeichers. Ich denke, um Letzteres geht es hier.

In folgendem Forum wurde gefragt, was "Single Bank/Double Bank" heißt. Die Antworten könnten hier weiterhelfen:

Auch 'Backpacks' scheinen in diese Richtung zu gehen, wie z.B. dieses Zitat aus http://www.mpex.net/hardware/archiv/rio600.html zeigt: "Der interne Speicher ist durch sogenannte Backpacks erweiterbar, derzeit mit 32 MB erhältlich."

Jedenfalls deutet alles auf den Bereich "Speicher" hin. Vielleicht meldet sich ja noch jemand, der sich besser damit auskennt.
