Does anyone know what "to farm" XP means? Context is an interview with a games developper. His answer is: We hope they do. We're very much hoping they do. We are trying to bribe them with XP.

Explanation:
Sofern es um ein RPG geht:
Farming bedeutet das "Einsammeln" von Gegenständen, die von besiegten Gegnern fallengelassen ("dropped") werden (daher "farming"). Im Zusammenhang mit XP (= Experience = Erfahrung, Erfahrungspunkte) bedeutet es, durch das Besiegen von Gegnern, an Erfahrung (-spunkten) zu gewinnen. Das sind geläufige Begriffe in RPGs.

Ok, Niels trifft es exakt. Ich lag da falsch, da z. B. questen nicht gleich farmen ist, auch wenn man mit beidem Erfahrung sammelt. Sorry für den Schnellschuss!
