It is a baby toy or part of a baby toy consisting of a string/rod of beads with space to push them around.

Motorikschleifen sind nur diese verschlungenen Drahtgestelle. Hier ist es nur ein kleines gerades Stueck Plastik mit 4 Kugeln drauf.
Siehe auch der Link oben zu einem anderen Produkt. Das ist hier leider was anderes, auch wenn im Englischen beides den gleichen Namen hat.

It seems like there are several types of "bead chasers". One is the "Motorikschleife" you mentioned, which is a base of some sort with interwined wires with beads to push around on them.
What I was looking for was a straight bit of plastic/metall with a few beads to push back and forth, attached to another toy. In the end I used "Schiebekugeln" for that one. It is not mentioned as often as it is not a toy per se, but a feature of some toys.
